I'm back!

It's been awhile, eh?  Sorry about that.  I feel like I paint everyday of my life these days.  Oh wait, I literally do.  I took a break this weekend because my knee is bothering me, so I thought I'd get back to this blog.  A lot has happened, so this is going to be pics with little commentaries to try and catch you up real fast, so we can move to blogging in real time again.  Here we go!
This is what the ceiling looked like in progress of priming.
This is the room primed and the difference between our window treatments that came with the house on the left, and our new treatments on the right.
The kitchen when we first moved in.

 In progress
New countertops, appliances, and the wallpaper and curtains down.  We're still trying to get it painted, and the wallpaper down from some places.
 My favorite place, command central
The only room in the whole house that's "done."  It's not waiting for anything.  Although, Kevin and I had a conversation about a possible different ceiling paint because Kevin wants the white trim to stand out.
This makes my heart so happy.
K'lyn has come for two visits so far.  One without Adam and one with him.

For the second visit we tie dyed.  I got us some shirts and then had the brilliant idea to have a friend make white masks to dye.  They turned out so good!  Their second visit was for Logan's birthday.  14!!!

These are his new LED lights for his room.

Some of the masks and of course, Red Lobster for dinner.
He tried to blow it out with his mask on.
 It didn't work.

This is one of his birthday presents.  He thinks it's a she, and her name is Aesop.  He calls her Soap for short.  She eats crickets and mealworms.  Bleh!  Other than that, she's really cute, and we all like her.

That's not nearly all caught up, but I can probably move on to real time blogs now.  They'll all be about painting, but that can be exciting, right?  Stay tuned!

Italy - Day 4

On Tuesday morning of our trip, we woke early.  We had an appt. for a Scavi Tour at 930a and had to be there at 915a.  When Kevin called t...
