Home is:
messy rooms
a crazy cat
clean dishes and sink thanks to my cat/house sitters (Nana and Papa)
a big box of mail and catalogs to go through

Halo and missing husband
I could go on, but it's getting late. Please excuse the no pictures and nothing about the trip. There's some cleaning up to do with getting pics off Kevin's puter on to mine and finding my camera cord to upload new pics. Otherwise, it was a great day even though we're all sick or getting there. Happy Halloween!

Disney

While I was waiting for the gang on the Merry-Go-Round, I noticed this little bird in the stroller right next to me eating the crumbs out of it. If I knew there was such a thing here, I would've brought the car seats out of the car!

Just in case you're wondering. Logan was on the Merry-Go-Round even though he's not in the picture. He was beside Marley. He wouldn't go on Dumbo. He said it went up too high.

Now this was more up Logan's alley, and Marley got a ride too!

This was probably the most fun we had today. It was the Buzz Lightyear ride. We each sat in seats and went through black light tunnels and had to shoot the bad guy, Emperor Zurg. The controller let you turn whichever way you wanted, even turning around and looking at the people behind you. This worked well since Kevin and Logan were behind me, and Kaelyn and Rory were in front.

I don't know who's having more fun, Kevin or the kids.

Marley manning the guns.

The show.

Logan thought the show was too loud.

Minnie's couch in Minnie's house.

I just talked to Jess and her and Jim were upset that we didn't go on a certain ride today. Oh well, I guess we'll have to come back! :)

Red Man
While we were sitting with the Scott's and listening to the music, I noticed that across the way there was a man dressed entirely in red and painted red to boot! People were taking pictures with him and he was messing with whomever came up to pose with him. Well, since you all know Rory, I don't have to tell you that she was up there more than once. But before I get ahead of myself, I have to back up and show you our first moments here before the night fell.
We had passed this face painting place when we were here before, but we told the kids they couldn't do it. Well, we decided to let them do it today.

Rory chose Cinderella and Logan chose super hero. Along with the wedding ears that Rory got yesterday morning, she looked completely in her element. COMPLETELY! And of course all around the park, everyone referred to her as "Princess."

We were sure that Logan would sweat off his face, but he didn't. He rubbed it off certain places, but it was still going strong.

Given all this background information, let me go back to the red man. Here is how he handled Rory.

Logan didn't want to go up there, neither did Kaelyn. Marley wanted nothing to do with the red man even though she kept trying to go up there. She didn't even want a little thing of ears on her cheek while the others got their faces painted. She did dance though...did she ever!
We went back again tonight to Downtown Disney. The kids commented that even if we didn't go to any parks, Downtown Disney was enough. Imagine the money we could've saved! :) It is an awesome place, and all of us loved every minute of it. I enjoyed it better tonight since yesterday I had a stomach bug that parked me in the bathroom every 20 minutes or so. I was up with it last night too, and even took a nap while Marley napped and everyone else was at the pool, and I still didn't feel better. It got better once we got there and got moving. Wish you all were here!

Snow White
This morning we were chillin' out watching TV. We had no where to go and no where to be. I heard a scratching at our sliding glass doors. When I looked out, there was a raccoon on top of the trash can on our patio. It was ROCKY! Just kidding...but that's what all the kids said. This coon wasn't nearly as well fed as our Rocky.
A little while later, we went for a walk up to the resort store and to check out the pool. All along our way were squished, dead frogs on the road. It was pretty disgusting. Then Logan ran over to something and said it was a snake, and sure enough, it was. A little fellow that turned and snapped at Kevin when he patted him on the back trying to pick him up. Kevin was trying to take its picture. He got out his cell phone, and the snake sat there and posed all coiled up and practically smiling. Once Kevin took his picture, the snake went on his way. Seriously folks..this snake posed for the picture. We were joking about it saying it wasn't signing autographs since it looked so used to people taking pics of him.

Back at the house for lunch Rory, Logan and Marley were sweeping and mopping again. Logan came running toward us and telling us he found a dead lizard. If you have kids you know to take things with a grain of salt, but lately, our kids have been spot on in whatever they say. So we went to check out what Logan was holding, and there it was, a dead lizard. Of course our first thought was for you guys, so we snapped pictures, threw the lizard in the trash, and boiled Logan's hand. :)

What is it with the animals here? I feel like Snow White of the creepies...dead creepies at that!

Disney Marketplace
The main thing about Disney (I had no idea) is the pin trading. When we were leaving the Scott's, Joslynn was trying to tell us about it, but we didn't understand what she was saying until we got there. Apparently, you buy a lanyard and then purchase some pins. Every Disney worker has a lanyard with pins, and they HAVE to trade with you. After watching Joslynn, Rory wanted to get in on the action. We got her a lanyard and some pins, and it took no time for her to start trading. There are different ranks of pins, and it's too confusing to school you on it right now. It really needs it's own post.
Anyway, we walked around and shopped. It was a great time. We came back to the resort and had some of the best cardboard pizza I've had since they closed Cosmo's in Landmark Mall in VA. After dinner we had ice cream. Then we yelled at the kids for running around crazy after giving them all that sugar. :) We're hanging out at the resort tomorrow and checking out their pool facilities. Here are some pics of the day. A Demain!
