We all know I have kids with talent. Every now and then I get it on tape. Well, here ya go. Logan was singing this morning, and then Rory hopped on board. Enjoy!
You can thank me whenever you want. You're welcome. Tomorrow night is going to be busy, so please don't expect a great post. Thanks for hanging in there!

Happy Anniversary to US!
Yes, that's right. Today was our anniversary. If you'll remember back to last year...I was worried about that seven year itch thing. I guess we got through that. Anyone know of an eight year one? I'm not itchy at all! (mostly ;)) We got out to dinner tonight thanks to Nana and Papa. We left two at home with definite temperatures, one who already had it, and one that seemed fine but felt hot at bedtime. God bless her! I'm not feeling too well, but that's just going to have to be that way. So to my husband of eight years (that is supposedly not itching as well) Happy Anniversary! May the next one be a bit LESS eventful. :) And for the picture that states exactly how we feel right now...
Oh, and this is what we've done in eight years.
Not the best picture, but not bad for a camera phone.

Playing the Fool
Very seldom do I ever make a fool out of myself. It's simple principal...or is it principle? Anyway, I decided to have a little fun (very uncommon of me if you know me) playing with the kids outside. So, I took a ride...on Rory's bike, which my husband got all giddy taking pictures of me doing. Did that make any sense? There's probably so many things wrong with that sentence, but I don't feel like pulling out my red pen. Because I don't care what people think of me(read: I'm totally lying), I've decided to post this picture. The end.
Hopefully this will stop Kevin's post about all the bad pictures of him. So there!

You Spin Me Right Round Baby Right Round
Have I used this title before? I thought I did. Anyway, we went to the mall today to look for Kaelyn's confirmation dress. On our way out the door, Kevin took the kids on the Merry-Go-Round. This is the kid's favorite at this mall. Here are some pics...try not to get seasick.

I personally love these...and don't worry...I have more pictures for tomorrow. Make sure you read the quote today...ya hear?!

Another Outside Day
So there hasn't been many "good" outside days lately because it's been chilly. Today we had a good outside day, so that's what we did. We started the day at the Scott's and played outside the whole time there. We rested for a little in the afternoon and headed back out again. I got some shots for you.

Don't you like the less talk and more action approach? Kaelyn was inside for all this sick. It's not strep though, so that's a good thing. C'est la vie!

Memories
Whenever we went to my grandparents when I was little, they always had three things: ginger cookies, peanut butter candy, and cinnamon candy. I found out this weekend that my uncle made the cinnamon candy. I had asked him to make it for Kevin because Kevin likes hot, cinnamony things. I never knew what it entailed. Here's a little video for those who don't know either.
So basically you take scalding hot gel, cut it, and put it on a tray with powdered sugar. It hardens and it's candy. Unfortunately, Kaelyn saw this process and was told that it could be made in different flavors. I won't be surprised if Kaelyn tries this and destroys the kitchen. Then again, this could be the start of seeing her on the Food Network in one of those sugar challenges. Adios!

This and That
I don't know what to blog about, so I'm just going to post random pictures.
Maria got me an Edible Arrangement for my birthday last week. Marley didn't even make it out of her jammies to enjoy the present.
James enjoying some balloon time.
I think this is a great picture of Juliana.
Aaawwwwww....

This is my life...in a nutshell.
Another cutie of James.
Kevin says he was trying to get a good picture of Marley. Success?
I have no words for Logan.
Peace Out!

Miracles Do Happen
My license expires tomorrow. Did you know that? I thought I was going to be able to renew online, but I can't. It won't let me. The website says only by mail, but I never received anything besides a thing telling me I had to renew. There was no "booklet". The website states that you can renew your license for up to a year without having to take the test again. I same test I almost failed last time I took it when my license expired.
So I had just driven down to the credit union in Germantown and decided to hop on 270 and go up to the Frederick MVA. Rory and Logan were with me and it was 145p. I knew in my head that I had to leave the MVA no later than 345p because I had to pick up the Scott girls from soccer. We arrived at 210p and got in line. It took us 10 minutes to get a number and the lady said that I was next in line and to have a seat. I sat for about 5 minutes and was called. The lady took my picture and told me she'd call me in 2 minutes. 2 minutes later, she handed me my new license and that was that. That was the only time I ever got in and out of there in 20 minutes. It was a miracle. The rest of the day is a blur.
It went something like, we got the girls from soccer and played at the park, Kevin went and made dinner, we got Kaelyn from track at her friend's house, we ate dinner, left and drove to Emmitsburg(by way of Pennsylvania) drove back from Emmitsburg, dropped off the Scott's, got home, put Rory down, and now I'm writing you fine folks. I'm tired. I'm going to bed. Good night!

Logan Performs and Marley Smushes
Kevin was in the kitchen singing a Beastie Boys song that goes, "So what'ch'ya, what'ch'ya, what'ch'ya want, what'ch'ya want?" Logan heard this and made this rendition.
He was singing, "Watch out, baby!" Before that he was singing, "what'ch'ya want?" Then he added the baby and came up with his own song.
In other news and just because you weren't wondering, if you were to leave my house and decide you wanted to come back in, you might run into this...
This is what she does everytime I run out to the car, or get the mail, or anything else where I come right back in. It's so funny! Bye!

Congratulations Uncle Brian!
This is what Kevin's brother, Brian, heard today. He has been up for a promotion to manager in his position at Red Cross. This has been an ongoing wait, and today he received the news that he got the job. So like any good sister-in-law would do, I called him and let the kids scream, "Congratulations Uncle Brian!!!!" I don't think he expected it which was the best part.
Brian is a modest guy. He's not showy (even though he owned a Cadillac CTS once), he doesn't ask for much (besides new computers and $800 helicopters), and he keeps it real...
slippers and all! Congratulations Brian...you deserve it!

Wraslin' Sibs
So I got the kids out of their cages today and took them outside...to weed. No, I didn't MAKE the kids weed. They wanted to. I found a rubber kitchen glove and used that because my hands are still brown from this weekend's weeding. Anyway, I was weeding and the kids were playing, so I thought. I turned around and this is what I saw...
I have two other videos, but Kevin and I decided we liked this one the best. I'll post them later. I thought this was so cute. Marley was going after him just as much as Logan was. It took a little bit to get over the fact that they were rolling on the ground with bugs, but then I remembered rolling around in the grass when I was little and how much I liked it. I hope they remember this too...well, Marley probably won't, but that's one of the reasons for this blog. Peace out!

It's 946p EST
To the five of you out there, you know that means that there will be no interesting post tonight. Nana, Aunt Paula, Kaelyn, Sam, Nik, and I all went to see The Last Song movie. It was ok. I'm not a big fan of Miley Cyrus, so the movie was just luke warm. I read the book too, so that kind of gave the movie less of a chance. Anyway, it's late and we just got home, so I'm going to shower, shave, sh**, shine, and shampoo. (Kudos to whoever can name that movie). Good night.

Little Helpers
Since it's been HOT outside, I've kept the kids inside and started my spring cleaning. Spring cleaning in my household normally involves the TV and Nintendo DS more than I would like to admit, but it keeps the kids from following me around and messing up everything I'm doing. I was trying to dust the knick knacks in the living room today to finish up the living room cleaning, and Rory and Marley wanted to help. I figured that this was a fire I should fan, so I let them.

Contrary to this picture, I did not drug them first and then make them help. Rory actually enjoyed herself.
Then I had to give Logan a bath. I normally kneel and wash Logan. I had just soaped him, and Marley assumed the position.
I think she's waiting for instructions.
Here I think she's mad that she's not getting any instructions. Pay no mind to the angry red injury by her left eye. We don't know what happened. We heard Marley scream and ran into the living room to see Marley standing behind a seated Rory, who was waving a poster board around. Rory doesn't know what happened. That's her story and she's stickin' to it. Later Y'all!

Important Childhood Lessons
There are certain things in life that need to be taught. Some of these things can only be taught by experience. One of these is eating an ice cream on a hot day. There are certain techniques that need to be administered in accomplishing this task. That was a big word sentence. Anyway, here is Logan's first lesson in this life skill.

Look at how much ended up on the ground. And if you know Strawberry Shortcake Ice Creams, the best part is the outside crunchies!
THINGS TO DO THIS SUMMER
Teach these kids how to lick around the bottom of their ice cream and eat it from bottom to top.

Some Good Photos
Writing is highly overrated. Here are some good pictures I got today.
We are family to this little nest of praying mantises. There are 10-400 eggs in this nest. I just read a little bit about these things to get the info on how many eggs there are, and let's just say, we'll be moving on to happier things.

Enjoy!

Hoppy Easter!!
I think I titled last Easter's blog this same title. It doesn't matter. It works. I didn't blog last week because I was trying to not be on the puter so much for Holy Week. Anyway, since it's late, I'm just going to post some pics and comments about today.

By the way, Rory lost her tooth...AGAIN! Auntie Fifi said that if you lose your tooth on a holiday, the tooth fairy gives double. That must be the Canadian tooth fairy! :)
Happy Easter!!!
