Memorial Day Weekend!

Happy Memorial Day to everyone! We had quite an exciting weekend. I'm going to split the post in two. First up, my parents house on Sunday.
We were on I-270 when we saw the "Rolling Thunder" procession. At first it was awesome to see all the motorcycles going by on their way to DC...but then we got stopped to let them all go by. We were the second car in line when they stopped us, and we waited for about 45 minutes. We let the kids out of their seats and they stood at the back of the car waving to all the motorcycles going right by us on the shoulder. We ended up so late that we couldn't make it to meet Grandma and Gekko for breakfast. We ended up getting off on Route 7 after 66 was a mess too. We found a Panera and ate breakfast outside at 1030a. That was a good time at least after sitting in the car all that time.
We ended up spending most the of the day outside and even ate out there. My dad grilled some ribs, so we decided to roast marshmallows too. I was really excited because I love roasted marshmallows. The kids ended up asking for "raw" ones. What's wrong with them?! More for me! We packed things up for a long car ride home thinking the "Rolling Thunder" would be on their way home, and we got home in about an hour...of course! Tomorrow...Nana and Papa's and the first day at the pool!

Happy Birthday Dayce!!!!!!

Well folks, Dayce is turning three today. I'm not sure Maria feels better today than she did then since she's 8 months prego. :) Anyway, a little birdy told me that Dayce might like a little birthday message on this here blog today, so that's what's happening. Happy Birthday, Dayce!!! We love you!!! (Kaelyn was not present for this singing because she's sick in bed, but she'll be singing on the phone call version of this video.)

Happy Birthday, Dayce! May all your dreams come true!

Too Late...

I didn't get home from the gym and store until 915p. I had to eat something, and the only thing new I have to post is videos...lots of videos. They take too long to load, and I need to go to sleep. By the way, sorry that I didn't post anything for today. I wasn't home last night, and I didn't have any pictures anyway. I'm going to close out the day and blog for now though. Thanks to my loyal readers. Hasta La Vista!

Mommy Elephant

So we all know I'm not the player of the family. I play with the kids, but I always defer to Kevin because he has natural kid qualities. Every now and then though, I let my inner child out. I think the kids love this because I'm normally yelling at them rather than along with them. So the other day when we were playing, I let her out.
These are the masks that make the animal sounds when you press the noses. Marley kept trying to reach around and press my nose. It was cute.
So...you saw it here first. Too bad I didn't get a video of it. Then you could've heard the sound. For now the inner child is locked up again. Until next time...

Cirque de Marley

It's no secret that these kids are acrobats. Kevin has made them so, and Marley is no exception.

Marley Vs. ?

Poor Miss Marley had a hard week. First up...Marley vs. Moki.

I was present at this battle and that cat must be some kind of ninja because he batted her so fast, because I didn't even see it.

WINNER: Moki

Next up...Marley vs. Rory's swim bottoms.

I was doing laundry and saw Marley run by like this.
WINNER: Rory's swim bottoms

I have no rhyme or reason for this kid. I do realize that in some pictures you might have some safety concerns regarding the placement of the swim bottoms over Marley's nose. I assure you...NO MARLEY'S WERE HURT IN THE MAKING OF THIS BLOG.

Not Bothering

You know...I thought I would get a couple comments with that last blog. Since I didn't, I'm not going to blog tonight. Besides the fact that it's the season finale of Grey's Anatomy, that has nothing to do with it. Later!

Papa John's Ad

When Kaelyn was little...she did this little song and dance. I don't quite remember how it started but she would dance around and sing, "My what?! My desitin! My what?! My desitin!" It was the cutest thing, and I should have recorded it and sent it to desitin for an advertisement.

Flash forward to pizza night at the Bucy's. It was Kaelyn's confirmation, last minute dinner plans fell through because my parent's car crapped out, so we ordered Papa John's (Kaelyn's favorite pizza). It's actually not her favorite pizza, I don't think, but she likes the bread sticks and the garlic butter. We got into the meal, and all the kids had bread sticks and garlic butter, so Marley wanted some too...naturally. Well, she had some, and then some! Rolling with the ads now...

Look at that face. Poor Kevin. He can't stand it when they get dirty eating.
This was about the time I started thinking that Papa John's would say that there's no way to know it's THEIR garlic butter, so I did what any normal parent would do.I gave her the lid to lick. :) So here's the slogan I'm thinking of....wait let me set it up for you...

Some Prom Pics

I'm just going to roll the pictures. Whenever you see Kaelyn with a guy, that's Mike...her boyfriend. I know...I know...don't get me started.

It's over. I've already told Rory and Marley that they're not going to their proms because I can't do it again. :)

Next...

Rory's birthday. We had her party at the gym again because it was the easiest and the cheapest. All went well, and it looked like everyone had fun.

I love that last picture! That was Saturday before the prom. Tomorrow night...the prom!

We Now Return To Our Regularly Scheduled Program

Sorry about missing the last couple days of the week last week. Things we happenin'. I'll go in chronological order as not to confuse you all and myself. :) First up, Kaelyn's confirmation. I'm just going to roll the footage with as few interruptions as possible.

Kevin asked Kaelyn in the car on the way home if she felt different. She said, "no." Kevin said, "you're supposed to say yes." It was funny. Up tomorrow is Rory's birthday party. Am I getting a little sympathy for the no blogging last week? I need a nap...

Italy - Day 4

On Tuesday morning of our trip, we woke early.  We had an appt. for a Scavi Tour at 930a and had to be there at 915a.  When Kevin called t...
