Not Blogging...Again

I split my tooth tonight. It hurts. I took pain medicine. It's working so I'm going to bed before it stops working. The funny part of all this is that my appt. with the endodontist was tomorrow morning at 10a. Now I have to see the dentist first to see if my tooth is salvageable. Non-stop fun here at the Bucy household. See ya Monday!

O Canada!

It's really sad for me to write about my trip because I miss my sister so much. We were supposed to live next door to each other and have our kids grow up together. It's depressing. I'm just going to roll the pictures.
This is my Wii Mii. I'm named Auntie Nero in their system. I meant to change it to Ninang before I left, but I forgot. Ninang is godmother in Filipino. Dayce played my Mii the whole time I was there. He loved having me sword fight.
This is what I did a lot of the time. Well, before Dayce started asking other people to hold Drake, so that I could hold him instead. He's adorable.
I miss them so much! Hopefully they'll be coming for Christmas. I can't wait!

NOVA

This title stands for Northern Virginia...the next leg of our trip. We went to stay with my dad for a couple days while my mom was in Canada. We didn't do much, but hang out. It was a good time. I'll stroll through the pics and let you know what's going on.

Some sprinkler fun that Marley and Kaelyn didn't want to partake in.
I was trying to get Marley's black eye from Logan. We were in the car and he wanted to play with his umbrella like Marley was. Instead he thwacked her in the face with it. Her eye is still black.
We went to a park at my parent's. It's just around the block.
This is how animals climb with their young. :)
********NO MARLEY'S WERE HURT IN TAKING THIS PICTURE*************
There are scenic stops on our route home from my parents, and we always say that we'll stop some time, but we never do. So...we decided to go stop at them.
One of these spots had a bridge to cross and paths to hike. So we went for a little hike...with a double stroller that did NOT have off-roading wheels.
We were teaching the kids about trail markers. Logan was most interested in these and would point them out whenever he saw them. Kevin asked him on the way back if he had seen any trail markers...and Logan as non-chalantly as possible he says, "No, but I see a turtle." We all ran ahead and caught pictures of it. Most of you know that my FAVORITE animal is a turtle. I didn't get any other good pictures of the little guy, but we enjoyed watching him crawl away.

Next was Old Town Alexandria. We went to the Torpedo Factory. It's basically a bunch of different artist's studios. They create their work and put it out for sale. This display is called "Living Art." It was a bunch of caterpillars. It was weird. The kids weren't as interested as I thought they'd be.
Sorry..I had to do it.
For not having any plan in mind while staying at my parent's, I think we all had a lot of fun. We got to do those things that take time....things that we're normally too "busy" to do. It was nice to chill out and make some memories.

Back...First Up...Hershey

Well, Kevin's comments on the last blog should say enough. The home flight was not fun. That might be the understatement of the year. Today was not the best of days, so I'm going to start off with pictures from our trip to Hershey. There's not much, but I got a couple of good ones. It was a good time. We went on rides on the morning. There's one called "Frontier Fliers." I went on it with Marley. Rory went by herself and Logan went with Kevin. It was a plane that had a panel you could turn and it would steer the plane. I figured out that keeping the panel turned in would keep us closer to the ground and steering it out would make us fly higher. I don't do very well with these rides. My stomach can't handle it. I was not having fun. Toward the end, Marley wanted to steer. And of course she turned it all the way out so we went higher. I was not feeling very well when all was said and done.

It was hot, so I was glad to take the kids back to the hotel for naps. I put them in separate rooms. Since there was a bed in the living room, I put Logan there and put Marley in the bedroom. I sat in the bathroom for an hour and a half reading the Bible and eating nut clusters. It was great fun, and everyone slept. I took bathing suits and towels back and we decided to do the water park. We weren't going to do it before, but it was really hot and it didn't look like rain at all. It was the best move of the day. Everyone loved the water park. Little Marley realized that her life jacket made her float, so the second she got in any water, she lifted her feet. She didn't know that she could fall forward. After a couple of faces full of water, she was still going strong. Logan did good. He cried a couple of times in the wave pool when the waves got too big. Rory was out in the deep end loving every minute of it.

We missed Uncle Brian, but all in all, it was a great time! Thanks Nana and Papa for financing a lot of the trip and watching our things while we played. Now for some pictures...
Good Times!

Second Leg Of Trip Underway

Well, we're out of Hershey. We have fond memories of good times. Except for the ones where the kids didn't sleep at all the first night, and Logan didn't sleep half the second night. We are very tired and trying to catch the kids up on their sleep. We're at my parent's house for a couple days. Trying to figure out what to do tomorrow is seeming to be an obstacle. It's hot so we were thinking inside. There's not much we can think of, so we're looking to water park my sister, Dita, was telling us about. Wish us luck. I was going to have a picture of a black eye that Logan gave Marley, but I can't find my transfer pics wire thingy. Kevin would shoot me if he knew I just called it that. Just kidding. Anyway, hope you all are well. I'll have lots of stories and pics for a little bit, that's for sure. Take care!

Hershey Park...Here We Come...

I won't be posting much this week. Those of you who read this know that we're going on vacation! I'll check in every now and then with some funny stories, but other than that, don't expect much. However....the pictures when I come back!!!!! I am bringing my camera AND the battery pack. Imagine that! Always thinking of you loyal readers. Have a safe week and wish me luck!!!

Kaelyn's Birthday Wish...

is a tablecloth. You think I'm fibbing? My parents have a tablecloth that when you put water on it, it doesn't soak in. It rests on top. Kaelyn figured out that you can push the water around in little drops and even form pictures. I'm not kidding. Every time we go there, this tablecloth is on the table, and it takes Kaelyn a while to get up from the table when she finishes. Because this is what she's doing...
She says that Grandma told her that she was going to get her one for her birthday. She could be doing a lot of other things than playing with a tablecloth. I'm not complaining!

Italy - Day 4

On Tuesday morning of our trip, we woke early.  We had an appt. for a Scavi Tour at 930a and had to be there at 915a.  When Kevin called t...
