Care To Share

I advertise on my blog now. It's a small thing, but it brings in money...I think. This has yet to be seen. Anyway, I figure there's about 5 people that read this thing, so I'm letting you know that if you want to open it up to others and send them a link, I'm cool with that. In case you need some guidance, I've put together some examples of sharing.

First up, here is Logan sharing his food with Marley.

Next is Logan and Rory sharing the same idea.

As you can see, sharing always works out. It gets a little confusing, but Dale and Dayce come out to SHARE their new pajamas with us. It's all good. Au revoir!

Hand-Me-Downs

So everyone knows that I recycle my clothes at Lucy's. The only clothes I don't recycle are the ones that I give to Maria for Dayce, or the ones that I just need to get out of my house because I can't stand it anymore. I had a bag set aside to give Maria of Logan's old jammies. It turns out that I forgot to give it to her. I found it the other day, and the jammies are 6-12 months! Marley is almost 11 months and needs new jammies. This is perfect. Sure they have cars and such on them, but who cares? Plus, these say "Future Heart Throb." That's not too far off base.

However, these jammies were made for Logan. Check this out.

Now that is heart throb material. He kept sucking in his stomach, so his towel would fall off and he'd flash everyone. It was funny. I love hand-me-downs.

By the way, this is my 101th post. Crazy!

Tuesday's Gone With the Wind

I'm sad. My sister is leaving today...or tomorrow if you're reading this before today, Wednesday. Anyway, for the past month my world has existed to spend as much time as possible with my sister and her family. We made it. It wasn't always easy. Sometimes the kids fought, sometimes we were just stressed straight out, sometimes we just wanted to sleep, but it was fun. I will miss them dearly. Kaelyn, Kevin, and I stayed up late to finish a scrapbook of our beach vacation for Maria. She was having problems with her camera while we were there, so I took lots of pictures. Kaelyn had mentioned doing a scrapbook for her before we even left for the beach, so I knew to take lots of pics anyway. She loved the scrapbook.

My little ham had to get in on the action.

The only thing her scrapbook didn't have was their last day of vacation at Jolly Roger's. That was probably the favorite, and there are no pictures from it. Oh well.

Looking through all the pictures last night, I noticed that there wasn't a single one of Maria and I...posing at least. So, there's no time like the present.

Keep in mind that Kaelyn was taking the picture. Let me give you a bit of background. We (Maria, me, and the kids) have been on a birthmark search. Rory has been showing everyone hers, so today Maria and I found ours. They are similar in look. Mine is on my ankle and Maria's is on her arm. When we were getting ready to take the picture, I said we should show our birthmarks and held my leg up while Maria showed off her arm. Kaelyn was slow to the draw and I had put my leg down. Then she took a series of shots that were too fast. Anyway, this is a candid shot of that all happening.

On a side note, look at my mouth! It's so big. Even now, I can hear all the comments being mumbled. Keep them to yourselves!

Kaelyn had taken a picture of us and said that my face looked too "bubbly" while stretching her hands away from her face. So I took this photo. Aren't you glad I had time to give you a commentary on this photo shoot? It's better than those busy days when I couldn't post any words and just pics, right?

Train roll on.

Think OUTSIDE The Box

Once there was a couple. They built a sunroom onto their house to use as a playroom for their grandchildren. One day, the grandpa found benches for the playroom that would hold toys inside for storage. The furniture arrived, and the grandpa was happy. Grandpa left the big boxes the furniture came in for the grandchildren to play in...and they did...

and the grandchildren were happy. THE END

Rory had a first this past Friday. I thought I'd share it with you. Her and Logan were outside blowing bubbles, and Rory accidentally did something. She whistled.

That's all I have for now. This should be a good week of blogs though. I think Rory's whistling deserves all the attention. It's that big. Happy Monday!

Kevin found my camera. Here's how it went.

Nora: Have you happened to find my camera?
Kevin: No. I can go look in the car.
Nora: Don't worry about it. I just didn't know if you had unearthed it.
Kevin: I did the dishes and put the clothes away, but I haven't seen it.
Nora: I haven't checked the kids' room. Rory had it.
Kevin: Oh, I haven't been in there. I wasn't looking for it, but I will.
Nora: It's ok. I'll look for it when I get home.
Kevin: Oh, here it is.

And that was that. There are no pictures on it, so I'm at a loss for what to post tonight. We went to my parents today, and the kids played like the kids always play. There was some time in the pool, but it started thundering and Kevin had a popsicle. Nuff said. We went inside and had treats. After that, we went to dinner at his parents, since we were in their neighborhood right at dinner time. Funny that! It was quiche. I love quiche. Renee makes me my very own. It's broccoli and bacon quiche. I have leftovers for breakfast tomorrow. I can't wait. Sorry all this is so boring. Let me try to find something fun to post. (elevator music playing)

This was Marley becoming acquainted with George...as in Curious George. She was doing some real belly-rolling laughing but stopped when I started filming...of course. I still think it's cute. Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Nicole!!!

I've lost my camera. I don't know what I'm going to do. I guess I could use my old one until my new one turns up or something.

Today was Nicole's birthday. She's my niece. She turns 12 today. Not yet a teen, but up to her waist in teen-ness. She's as dramatic as her cousins, Kaelyn and Samantha, so she fits right in. I first met Nicole when she was 4. It's hard to believe it's been eight years. She was such a small thing too. Here is something I know about Nikki. She is not a fool. She plays the fool and some people buy it, but we (her family) know better. She's as sharp as a whip and rather bright. Logan adores her, and she has an odd relationship with Kaelyn. They hang out most and get along. When Samantha and Kaelyn are jiving, Nicole is ready and willing to play with Rory and Logan. She's a sweet girl, and I hope she had a great birthday.

Just for kicks and since my new printer scans, I thought I'd treat you all to an old pic of Nikki. This is her in all her four-ness. Look at her death grip on Kaelyn. How little things change. Happy Birthday, Nik.

Kaelyn's Pics

Caught ya with the title, huh? This evening I downloaded the pics off of Kaelyn's camera. Some of them are really old. Because I don't feel much like writing, I'm just going to do another slide show. Since when would you all rather read my ramblings than see the pictures? Exactly. Let's roll.

Monday Madness

I would just like the record to show that I do not recommend the movie My Sister's Keeper. There were about 20 women and 1 guy in the theater. That poor guy had to endure us 20 women crying. Oh well. Maria said he should be compensated for going through that.

Maria and the gang are going to leave tomorrow because they have stuff back in Virginia to do. So tonight, we're going out to eat...just the grown-ups. Nana is coming to babysit. We went to Chuck-E-Cheese tonight for the kids' dinner. Maria and I decided that for all we've put Kevin through with playing with the kids when he got home, that we will buy him a beer or two tonight. He deserves it. I'm going to eat and enjoy, and then tomorrow, it's back to the grind stone. I can already feel my clothes fitting tighter since the beach.

I had a great time with Maria and fam. I wish they weren't leaving so soon. Here are some pictures from some of our adventures this weekend.

Au revoir!

I Apologize

Can you believe that I can't post pictures again because I only have a little time to write because I'm going to the movies again? Sorry, long question. Maria's gang is here, and she hasn't been to an adult movie since before little Dale was born, so I'm going to take her to one tonight. We've had a pretty exciting weekend.

Friday, we went to a big park. Saturday, we went to a play. Today we went to the pool and then to Kevin's parents house for dinner. Dale and Dayce fit right in with the girls and Nana and Papa. There was a really cute part. Dayce went and sat on Papa's lap. Papa pointed to the people around the table saying each one's name. When he got all around the table, he patted himself and said, "Papa." Dayce then patted himself and said, "Papa." It was really cute. I have tons of pics of things except for the play (I forgot my camera). I'll post them tomorrow night. The cord is downstairs where Marley and Logan are trying to go to sleep. At 745p, it's time for Dale and Rory to go down, and then we're off to the movies. We're going to see a chick flick. Kevin's not going, so he doesn't get to count this as one of his chick flick movies for me going to see his movies. We did, however, rent a chick flick Friday night, so I guess he has one down and one to go. Thank you for being so understanding with the non-blogging. I'll try to make up for it.

Ciao!

Italy - Day 4
