We've been getting out of the house lately to look at houses. We are careful not to touch anything with our hands and to Purell when we get back in the car. We are relying on God to tell us where He wants us. For instance, today we were supposed to see a house that's been on the market for over 100 days. The realtor contacted us this morning to tell us it went under contract this morning. This is the second house in an area we've been looking, so we're getting the idea that this area is not where we're supposed to be.
We're looking at two other houses today both in areas of interest, one more so than the other. Again we're faced with either being close to where we want and paying more or further out and paying less. I guess we'll see what God picks. The further out house needs cosmetic changes as far as we can see right now. The closer location house is ready to go, but it hardly has any yard and has an HOA. Also, it's not really the style we like (colonial).
Enough about all of this. Here are some things that have been happening.
We've been to the storage unit a couple times to collect things. I don't know what it is about these times that makes people take things out of storage that they're not going to use, but that's what we're doing.
Rory and I did our Covid-19 haircuts. I think Marz wants to be next, but she'll just get a trim. Rory did bangs, and I cut about 5 inches off, just enough to resemble Inigo Montoya.
Before K'lyn's work closed, we bought Easter stuff to paint. We were supposed to bring it back to get it fired, but they closed before we could.
Logan was pretty upset that his Confirmation was postponed, so we went and got Red Lobster for dinner that night. That's where we were going to eat after the ceremony. We pulled up, got the food, and then ate it in a parking lot across the street. They didn't give Logan anything to crack the crab with, so we went back to Red Lobster and asked for crackers, and then gave them back when he was done.
I got Kevin and I footmasks. They're those things that you put on your feet and then 7-10 days later, you're feet peel off and you have baby skin feet. Kevin was NOT happy and just kept telling me that this should prove his love for me. :) He ended up being allergic we think, but we're coming into the peeling phase cuz our feet are nasty looking.
On one of the trips to storage, Rory found her fairy lights that she wanted, so those are up and decorating her cubby (which she refers to as coffin). She also put stickers up on her blind.
This is what Kevin has been doing with his time. The stuff he takes from storage makes this t-shirt more of a threat than a joke. (insert roll eye emoji)
I'm in the midst of mourning for Easter which is ironic. I miss the music. I might end up just looking up and listening to the music. That's the second best part of Easter. While I've been blogging, the governor just announced a shelter in place. *sigh
