Halloween was very different this year for a couple reasons. Rory went to spend it with her friends back in MD. Ugh that drive. Anyway, they invited Marley too, but there was no way I was going to make that trip in the middle of the night in case she got scared and wanted to come home. Besides Marley has always dreamed of giving candy away on Halloween. Our old house never got any trick or treaters because we were on a busy road. Our new home is a completely different story. We're in a cul-de-sac, and our town said if we wanted to trick or treat, we could. We weren't expecting many kids, and we were wrong! We had 75+, and Marley got to trick or treat and come back and give candy out. There were so many kids, that she ended up giving away what she had just gotten. At least now we know for next year!
The night before Halloween, Logan had a costume party. Here was his costume, a plague doctor.
I had no idea what this was until I looked up the costume to order it. He totally rocked it, and he was able to dress warmly since the party was mostly outside. He had a good time, and I'm glad he's branching out.
For Marley's dance class, the teacher told them to come dressed up. She didn't want to dance in her Antman costume, so she came up with this gem of an outfit.
Let me tell you about this wall o' fun for Logan. It took so much patience, and he finally did it. I got the finish on video.
It was a great time, and I'm glad we made it. We were rained out for the original date this was planned, and this was the last day they were open. It was a fabulous Halloween, and now that I know I need to buy tons more candy for the neighborhood kids, I'll be better prepared next year.
