This is a Henna Tattoo kit that she got for Christmas 2007. It took her a year to do something with it, and now she won't stop. She even Henna'd Chloe. I had to call Mary and make sure it was ok that she had a temp tattoo for a couple of weeks. Kaelyn's getting really good at them as you can see. This is the ink before it's been removed. When she wipes it off, it's an orangeish color. Since the kit is so old, the ink isn't as strong, so the tattoo doesn't last as long as it's supposed to. Anyway, I finally found something that she liked even if it took her a year to try it.
Onto Logan. I have no words for this child. He has 2 great loves in this world, elephants and dinosaurs. This was his Halloween costume. None of you saw it because he wouldn't wear anything but the bodysuit to trick or treat. Now he won't wear anything but the head piece. Nana took him to Walmart yesterday and got him an elephant figurine. I don't know what it's made from, but it is heavy. I'm hoping he doesn't figure this out anytime soon. He also got a giraffe to go with the elephant. So far there doesn't seem to be any infatuation with giraffes. That's good because we have no room.
Little Marley is sitting up by herself! She can stay for a little bit, but isn't too strong at it yet. She's also eating all of her cereal gone for breakfast and dinner, and I'm not giving her that small of an amount. Once she got over shaking her head at it, she dived in. She's barely finished with one bite before she's opening her mouth for another. Let's all hope she's gaining weight. I'm making banana bread for the ladies at the doc's office for helping me out with her test results. I'm going to bring it to them Friday with Marley and see if they'll weight her really quick. I'll keep you posted.
I love this picture of Rory. Her face is so animated. In case you can't tell, that's a lemon in her hand. She's weird like that. We actually get her lemons as if they're treats. Logan joins in because Rory's doing it, but she has a real love of them. She's always been willing to try new things and likes a lot of them. She's the only one of my kids that likes eating broccoli and cauliflower and such. She reminds me of my sister, Maria, because she was always eating weird things like that with my mom growing up and still does.
And last but not least...Oh, you thought I was done? Here's my last kid, Kevin. The lighting isn't good, but that's him sticking his tongue out at me. I told him I was going to put this on my blog tonight so people could see what I go through. He didn't think that was such a bad thing, since he's doing the dishes in the picture. I'll give him that point. He normally does the dishes after I cook..or he cooks...or no one cooks...Ok, he normally does the dishes...period.
I just really like this picture. Later!
