The Fourth Of July On The 13th

Well, well, well...I'm finally catching up and able to post about the 4th of July. We spent it at my parents. We ended up celebrating Logan's birthday that day at my parent's too. I already posted those pictures, so here are some of the actual 4th of July celebration.

I had Marley in a completely different outfit that morning, but she ended up leaking in it. Luckily, my mom had bought this outfit for her. She looked adorable.
This was Rory's adorable outfit. I loved it!
Logan's shirt was new.
And I got Kaelyn a new tank top.
Marley had left her sun hat at my parent's last time we were there. It matched her outfit perfectly!
We had firecrackers in the back yard again. Kevin lined them all up and tried to light them as close together as possible.
It wasn't much, but the kids loved it.
See? They're all clapping. It was a great day. Kevin and I normally watch the Boston Pops on TV that night, but we actually forgot this year. Crazy!

Time Out Marley!

So Marley is coming up in age. She'll be two in September. You know what happens when you hit double digits in our house...you are time out applicable. It really doesn't do anything to sit someone in the corner for a minute. Try it sometime. So Marley has this nasty habit of throwing her food, spitting it out, or just dumping her plate. I realize that kids will be kids, but Miss Marley KNOWS what she is doing and does it with a purpose, which is to drive me crazy. So when she started this behavior the other day, I put my foot down and rounded up in age, and stuck her in a time out. Then I took pictures because that's what I do.
I told her to get in a time out, and she ran and did this. She knows that she was in the wrong. It's written all over her face.
She had sunflowers to distract her, but she was reprimanded.
She couldn't keep her eyes off them. Except for when I asked her if she was sorry and ready to come out of her time out. Then she gave me this look, which had me promising that I would never put her in another time out again...ever.
At least for a half hour. :)

Logan's Birthday Take Two

I know it's been a while, but I've had a teenage boy in my house visiting my teenage girl, and I couldn't leave the room to come blog. Sorry...that's how it works in this house. Anyway, here is Logan's birthday at Nana and Papa's. Again rolling the footage and trying to keep my comments to myself. :)
Logan's plate of cake and ice cream!

This is Spiderman. If you pull on a certain string, he opens up and all the candy falls out.
They finally got impatient and started beating the poor guy.

And out came candy!

Nikki wearing crushed Spiderman. Had to put it up here. So that was Logan's birthday at Nana and Papa's. It's hard to believe he's four years old. To top it off...we've had two full days of successful potty training! Soon he'll be off to college! Not in depends! Next comes the soother!

Logan's Birthday Take One

Logan had two birthday celebrations. First, we'll cover the one at my parent's, which was on July Fourth, which was the day Drake was born. Lots of excitement. Here are some pictures. I'll try not to ruin them with comments. ;)
Now that looks like a very happy FOUR YEAR OLD!

Happy Birthday Logan!!!!

Today, July 6th, is Logan's fourth birthday. Happy Birthday, Logan!!! I'm sure I'll have plenty of blogs for the next couple days. Until then, congratulations to my sister, Maria, and the birth of her third baby boy on the fourth of July!!! That makes Baby D on July 4th, Logan on July 6th, and my sister's other son, Dale, on July 8th. What a sensitive bunch of boys!

Here's a picture of my ten pounder four years ago.

Baby Are You Still Down, Down, Down, Down, Down?

I think it's sad that I'm posting another post about this dang song, but I can't get away from it. Just watch...

She does this "wheels on the bus motion" now too that Kaelyn was trying to get her to do, but Marley just wanted me to replay the video for her. Too cute!

Two for Two!

I made it back, and it wasn't that long!  Continuing on with the pic collage of 2026.  Here we roll... January This guy's birthday...
